"Found this place by accident when we visited Ligonier after the farmers market. We've been to Ligonier many times but typically only visited downtown. Just happened to be looking at Google maps for a new restaurant to try. Decided to try this restaurant after seeing it had 4.9 stars and the prices were reasonable. Pulled in the parking lot and and it didnt seem too busy for it being lunch time. Found parking around the back of the restaurant. There is an entrance to the bar from the back. The entrance to the restaurant is in front. Walked in and there were only 2 tables occupied, which is was good because it's a small restaurant. We were immediately greeted and told to pick anywhere to sit. Once seated, we were given menus. I was able to confirm that prices were very reasonable. There a couple of boards on the wall that mention their specials and soups. I ordered a sweet tea (my glass was refilled 3 times and I normally don't get that many refills! It was a perfect amount of sweet and its fresh made!) I then ordered a mushroom swiss burger (medium well) with bacon on it. Others in my party ordered the fish sandwich(it's huge!) and the meatball sub (huge, homemade meatballs!) Waitress was awesome! She was very pleasant and attentive! My burger was cooked to perfection and is a pretty big burger. It's a 1/4 pound of beef, but definitely don't compare that to a quarter pounder from McDonald's! It's so much bigger than McD. There was so much flavor in this burger, I did not need to put on any condiments! No mayo, no ketchup, nothing, just the mushrooms, bacon and swiss cheese. The chippers that come with most of the sandwiches are fresh made potato chips. Everyone in my party loved the food they ordered. This was definitely a gem of a place to find, and we will definitely come back!"
"Enjoyed a small girls night dinner. Great service, large portions, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend."
"We saw they had good reviews so we decided to stop by after visiting the Ligonier Farmers Market. Absolutely fantastic time. The lady who waited us was very kind, pleasant. Average wait time for the food. Not too busy at 1pm on a Saturday. Ordered a burger, the fish sandwich and a meatball sub. • The burger patty was large and juicy, not a dry spot on the burger. •The meatballs were rather large, about.. the size of a handball, homemade with sauce and gooey cheese • the fish sandwich was good and flakey, perfectly moist, had with the fixings; lettuce, tomato and homemade dill pickles Overall, 10/10 experience and we will happily stop by again!"
"We had a bit of a bump in the road with our first visit but I deleted my review because one experience is not every experience and we all have bad days and when business is busy it can effect service and I need to take that into account! Plus I must say I was very impressed because after I wrote a review the waitress reached out to me personally and was very kind and professional and apologized for any negative experience I may have had and invited me to give The Wagon Wheel a second chance And give them the opportunity to show me what a positive experience I can have there!! Good job management on training your employees I am very very impressed!!"
"The food is delicious, and the employees have a great attitude towards customers. My family and I eat at the Wagon Wheel every Friday. My husband loves the Stromboli's. I have a few favorites myself. If you want a great meal, stop by the Wagon Wheel to get some great food!"
